Early doors...

I started my Christmas shopping today, and all in my lunch break and after work! Also treated myself to PoTC 2(only because, though, buying it in Woolies with another chart DVD, which was a pressie made it less than a tenner). Hurrah. Will treat myself to that at the weekend, methinks. Savvy?
Alas, there's still plenty to get.  Have no idea what I want for myself at all, not at all.

Work hasn't slowed quite yet, so much so that the other day I was helping out with all the cutting and preparing, wielding metal ruler and scalpel! It's a change, a challenge and I enjoy it. Oddly. Strange that it still really is the best way to cut before presentation/sending stuff to a client.   I seem to have a steadier hand these days now that I feel that I know what I'm doing!

Why am I sitting here thinking, damn, Fairground by Simply Red is good?

My Uncle and Aunt came to stay ay the weekend which was nice, lots of cooking and wine and me actually managing to cook with other people in the kitchen..still had to have the radio on, a white sauce is nothing without it being sang to!

My Arsenal boys were great last night.  Theo is going to be magnificent and although we all sat through 80 odd mins of frustration throughout, I never felt we'd left it too late or anything and I knew the quality would show and we'd bludgeon the way through. Tricky blot of Bolton away on Saturday evening though.

What's all this negativity about the Ashes?  OK, so, some key players out, some injuries, but it's the Ashes, we're not going to roll over and give in!  At least, I hope not!  I'd like to think that the guys will play their best and we might get a surprise.

Let's hope Take That are No1 on Sunday, so we can all remember what it was like to be ten years younger. Bloody hell, where does the time go?
