Two Ships: by the parents... (Luby..the pantomime)

Because their input is more interesting than mine!

On Abby waking up next to Luka:
Mum: "Oh, she didn't want to wake up with him!"
Dad: "Oh yes she did!"

On Luka taking care of his patient of the day:

Dad: "It's alright, Goran's here! No more fannying about now, he knows what he's doing."

On Serena Williams' character croaking:
Dad: "She lost 6-0, 6-0 then."

On the plane crash:
Mum: "Oh My God, this is awful!"
Me: "It's not real!"

I'm almost glad that when I tried to receive E4 upstairs with my indoor aerial that it didn't work! My Dad talks over the top of a lot of TV progs, and most of his input is hilarious! Right. I only got up at 11:35, so I'm being a lazy cow today. But I just had a very healthy breakfast of brown bread and a banana. :)

I'm reading The Da Vinci Code at the moment, my God, it's a real page-turner, I can barely stop reading. I usually don't like anything that gets a lot of hype and attention, I like to wait for the fuss to die down, hence, this is why I'm reading it now. This is probably why I have never read Harry Potter or watched any of the Lord of the Rings films. People keep telling me to, maybe they will prod me into submission one day!

The interview yesterday went well, but then I always say that and never get asked back. The building was easy to find but bizarre, a really long building with all these old pipes visible in the ceiling, like it used to be a factory or something. The wind was bitter but as usual I absorbed London like a literal sponge, there's something about the capital that always has me buzzing. And I never noticed before, but coming down Farringdon Road past The Guardian, you can see St Paul's. I was tempted to snap it on my phone like an eager tourist but didn't have the patience as the icy wind battered me.

Sorry to boredflower that I didn't get to meet her, I don't appear to have a current mobile number for you, but I had to rush back anyway to go and buy a printer from PC World. (Oh the excitement!) My old one, which I have had for 7 years, went bezerk. My Dad had a prob with it the other day so I came to investigate and turned it on. We hadn't told it to print anything and it started printing page after page of jibberish and refused to turn off when I pressed the button. Scary! So I unplugged it all and we got a nice new one which is probably much, much better.

Apologies also that I'm so far behind with my ER reviews, I hope nobody's coutning on reading them too much. (I doubt it!) I just do them for a bit of fun, quite casually, but the last two weeks have been a bit manic for me and I'm going to be busy with another interview next week so it may continue. I'm going to try and finish 12.05 and 12.06 this afternoon. I also don't have my own VCR so that makes it a bit harder.

Later, chucks!
