Covered in Rain...

Oct 13, 2005 21:23

Yesterday I had to run and grab some things, and I found myself not undettered by the rain. Yeah, you all think I'm nuts, but I embraced the driving rain, it was so therapuetic, having it lash into my face. I'm not really a big believer in astrology but I am an Aquarius, and true to form, I love the water.

I also received a letter from the hospital yesterday. After phoning, being shunted from switchboard to switchboard and being played a thousand recorded messages, the results of my CT finally arrived and are "reported to be normal." I don't like the wording, literary fuckwit that I am, but at least it seems that I am out of any immediate danger, thank God. It was a worry, even though I had tried to convince myself that things are alright. Yet still, I am left with the almost constant head pain and the oh so pleasant tingling. I'll have to get back to the doctor, I don't know what's causing it. Stress, God knows. I'm sick of it. But I could be worse off, so I'll soldier on.

Well, the England game last night was alright, they did play a little better, much less like a dose of sporting Valium. A little more urgency. Sven still looks rather unbothered though. As one journalist commented; "4 mil a year? I wouldn't pay him in washers!" Ha.

I thoroughly enjoyed tonight's EastEnders. Though I do wonder why anyone gives a fuck about the Queen Vic. It's just a scabby old pub. The decor hasn't been changed in like, ten years, nobody ever polishes the bust of Victoria, there used to be a dead man in the cellar..should I go on? ;) But c'mon, everyone, why are they all blind to Chrissie's scheming? I was laughing so much at Dennis sneaking down the corridor eavesdropping, silently working out a plan. Hee. But the Tubby Brothers will be back soon. Noo. I still haven't finished watching GV in Spartacus (bad me) because I was howling at him scrapping with Ross Kemp. It was too much, really!

Back to the fanfic, methinks. CH2 is getting interesting! ;)
