Food for thought...
It was my Dad's birthday yesterday so I had great pleasure in cooking steak in garlic and red wine. OK, and yes, I drank most of it while I was cooking! But what can you do when you were brought up watching Keith Floyd on TV? When I was about ten and I started cooking I used to fill up a glass of water and go around sipping from it: "I'll just a have a little slurp!" LOL. Oh dear, the memories!
Happily, my Maroon 5 CD/DVD arrived today. It's bloody good. New tracks, the whole SaJ album and a cover of Hello by Oasis. Excellent stuff. I'm saving the DVD for a rainy day.
Neighbours this week has been a lovely nostalgia trip. What with appearances by Doug "I'll build a generator" Willis and Phil "Mills and Boon" Martin and Joe Mangel coming back. He is very funny indeed. After waking one morning and seeing the bathroom was full, he replied "Just going to drain the spuds!" Ha! Such comedy!
In other soap news, EastEnders is doing funny things with my head again. (Well, seeing Nigel Harman in maroon will do that to a gal! ;)) I'm beginning to like Peggy in an odd way. Help.
Anyone who was hoping to see the next installment of my fanfic, well, I have been a bit busy over the last couple of days, but hopefully I'll get some done tomorrow, even though I'm going to my Aunt's I may be able to grab a few minutes before bed to finish it off. But in true me fashion, I have BLOODY started a NEW ONE! Couldn't help it! (This is a 12.07 speculation) I'll take that away with me too, I take my writing and music everywhere with me generally! Apparently my Aunt is hosting some betting game fun thing on Saturday night, so this could be interesting. After all, this is the woman who had us doing the Conga into a stranger's garden at the Millenium!
I have an irritating cough at the moment, so living on Halls and Covonia yet again. But I'm sure it will bugger off soon enough, it's really not too bad.
