So, I just finished watching the airing of The Tyra Banks Show that
starofpersia and
yakkette and (barely) me were on.
I'm still disappointed that our topic wasn't "Girlfags" or even "Women who like men who like men", but was "Women who feel like gay men trapped in women's bodies". That's only a minor fraction of what the girlfag thing is really about. But, a bit of girlfagness was covered, sort of, so I guess that's a little bit of progress.
Given that limited topic, I must say that
starofpersia and
yakkette did a terrific job of answering Tyra's many "confusions", and explained what that subset of girlfagness is about. Cool!
My part -- well, they did include the entire short bit that I did. Oh well. I had been hoping they'd edit out my bit. But it was OKish, I guess, and didn't misrepresent me. I still have my frustration at that little bit being my only shred of participation, and that I didn't get to say anything else or comment on any of the stuff. I still feel poorly used in that way.
But as a show, I guess it's OK,
starofpersia and
yakkette were fabulous, and maybe it got a few worthwhile bits of info out there. And my bit is something I can live with -- it's small and mostly pointless, but at least it's true.
UPDATE: I just surfed to
The Tyra Banks Show website, and found the link to
Tips and advice -- Women Who Love Gay Men. AND THERE WERE NO LINKS AT ALL TO OUR GIRLFAG STUFF which they promised to post. Liars!!!
