So what happens when you try a recipe for the first time and it all turns out delicious, except that you have way more filling than pastry, and it takes a long time to make the pastry and it's already 11 pm and you are tired and don't want to fuss with cutting butter into flour?
You make pumpkin pudding out of the extra filling. AND IT IS AWESOME.
