it's been quite some time. i felt like writing.
a friend's status the other day: "woke up feeling really good. then read the new york times. if i prayed or believed in any higher power, those prayers would go to haiti. instead i'll offer clothes, food, a small donation. you all should do the same. they need that over prayers."
makes me so sad. yes, donations and offerings of food and clothing are amazing. but prayer does wonders as well.
