Happy Birthday to me!
My dad wrote this to me today, it made me smile, quite a lot! :c)
He sent it at about 1:30 this afternoon:
Twenty two years ago, I got an emergency phone call right about now.
They said "You need to get to the hospital fast!". When I left here it
was cold, cloudy, and dreary. Who could imagine that in about 5 hours,
we would have 5 inches of snow and a baby girl. But we had both. I
love you and I hope your birthday is fantastic. I know that the weather
will be better anyway. Be happy, be safe and be good. Love DAD
I love my parents!! And yes, it really did snow 5 inches in Tidewater the day I was born, no kidding.
Thanks to all who have sent happy birthday wishes, and all those I hope to keep receiving (the day is still young!).
I'll have an updated post on the Saturday night "birthday gathering" coming soon. It's going to take too much time for what I've got right now though, hehehe.
