for the first time in a long time i find myself with a day off in the middle of the week. now i've got to figure out what to do with myself! lol so i decided to do something that (sadly) i have never done before, I'm gonna make waffles! I like waffles. My mom-in-law made them for us last weekend when they came up and they were wonderful! so i'm gonna try it again. then i'll probably do some other random stuff, try to be a little productive, and mostly just wait for my hubby to get off work :) then we're going fishing! I'm not usually too into fishing, but i'm excited this time. mostly cuz i want him to get out and do something he enjoys. and i like to get out in the mountains too.
i have been reading these books by Stephanie Meyer, more commonly known as the Twilight series.

I instantly fell in love. I started them on monday and I am now half way through the 2nd book *blush* They are sometimes irritatingly frustrating, but somehow addicting, as if reading on will make it all better. From the very begining there is mystery with a slight romance that only grows as you continue. When one answer is found, it springs ten more questions! I have heard these books referred to as the "new harry potter"...I am trying to see if I agree with that, but definitly worth a read. At least for girls, I have found that they are a bit of a "chick flick" type of book. Starting in high school with random crushes, and who will ask who to what dance. Until the impossible happens....I don't want to give anything away but they are so addicting! I forgot to say one thing about them, which is not giving anything away (though I thought it would) since it is on the very cover of the book. these books are about a vampire....well more accurately a girl who falls in love with a vampire...you can immediately see the complication. These books have literally kept me up all night thinking about them and trying to figure it out. Is this healthy? haha I guess i just needed to write about it to try to get it out of my head a little, so maybe i can concentrate on my normal life today. :) just a little rant...but if you have some extra time and are looking for an interesting read, i recommend it. :)
well, back to waffle making...
blah, didn't work, now i want to read again! ...must...resist...urge....
