I need to write about what happened to me so I don't forget it later. I have been losing big chunks of memory and I hate it.

On Monday night me and Frank went to bed right around 9pm. We weren't going to sleep, just laying and watching tv for a bit like we normally do. It was hot that day so we had the window wide open. Some kids were playing outside but other than that nobody was out there. Our window is in kind of a corner, like there is the fence for the neighbor's back patio just a few feet to ther right of the window. There's really no reason for anyone to be in the area in front of our window, unless a ball or something ended up there...its not a walkway area.
Anyway, it was just after 9pm and we heard a loud SNAP outside the window. We look outside and I say "what the fuck" because there is a man out there. Close enough that if the screen was gone I could have reached out and touched him. There is an Azalea bush outside the window, it used to be blocking the window but it was cut down/back earlier this year. The man snapped a twig off the bush, threw it aside, and stalked away. He didn't say a thing. Nothing. I am faceblind, and also we only saw the person for a moment, but it looked like a person who is on the lawn crew for our apartment complex. It seemed like the person was standing there looking in the window but someone saw what he was doing so he acted like he was tending to the bush. But it was 9pm! In the 3 years that I have lived here, they have never been working that late. Also, why snap off one twig and then throw it aside? It's Thursday and the twig is still there. I went out and took photos of everything the next morning. The twig, where it was laying, the bush, my window, I looked for a part on the bush where I could tell the twig came from, and I took photos of our window from the place the person was standing. He was looking right in the window right at me.
I don't want to have to talk to the landlord about it because I don't know who it was and I don't want to get someone in trouble that is innocent. I printed out a sign that says "peeper no peeping". If I feel like I am being watched again, I will talk to my landlord about it. The landscapers have always given me creepy vibes, like they would do the thing where they buzz by my living room window an excessive amount when I am sitting there on the computer. They gawk at me when I walk by. They're gross. They constantly leave trash when they do the yard care. Isn't trash pickup supposed to be included in that?
We like where we live but it's starting to get to a point where we are ready to move.
