Deathly Hallows Clip
One of the fun things about my hubby's job with the media is that I sometimes get to see movies before they are released when he goes to press screenings. We're taking the kids and going to see Deathly Hallows: Part 1 on Monday. In preparation for the review he'll be writing, my hubby was showing me clips from the movie that are available online for the media. The scenes aren't linkable, or I'd be happy to share some with y'all. Once my hubby writes and edits his video review, though, I'll post it here.
In the meantime, as a Hermione fan, I got a kick out of one scene that was online. In it, Harry is leaving the Burrow before the wedding when Ron stops him. Harry says he is leaving early because he doesn't want anyone else to die for him, and he is anxious to go find the horcruxes - not sit around and wait for the wedding.
Harry says to Ron, "Come with me."
Ron replies, "And leave Hermione? Are you MAD?! We wouldn’t last two days without her!"
He pauses, then adds, "…Don’t tell her I said that.”
*snicker*
There's a lot of flashy action sequences, but the little scenes like that are, I suspect, what I'm going to enjoy the most. Rupert Grint does a great job in that scene.
And now I'm going back to my attempt at reading Deathly Hallows again before Monday. *crosses fingers*
