"The Darkness is Coming" DW theorizing
I mentioned in a previous post that I was startled to hear the phrase "The Darkness is coming" in a Doctor Who season 3 episode. Tonight my daughter was watching "Sound of the Drums" and I heard it again in a way that convinces me that this is a reference to the season 4 story arc.

It's so interesting that this was clearly deliberate and yet no one has seemed to pick up on it before. It's yet another way that Rose was connected to S3 and that makes me happy.

I can't believe I'm the only one to have caught this - there are far more meticulous, fandom-obsessed fans out there than I am. But I remember reading all the discussion and spoiler boards during S4, and nobody ever mentioned this that I saw. So I must not have been reading the right fan theories. It's just way too obvious, in my mind, for me (and Pookie) to have been the only ones to notice it. I'll be very curious to know who else has caught this and what their thoughts are!
