One of Support Stacie’s volunteers, nursebadass, is going to be walking in Stacie’s name in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure taking place in Chicago in August 2010!
As you may all know, participants in the walk must raise funds in order to participate in the fundraiser for Breast Cancer research. Jer is down to the last few hundred dollars of her fund raising efforts. She has set up a wonderful community, fandom4thecure, in which authors from over 100 fandoms are helping her to raise funds in a project similar to our Author Auctions.

Jer has been an amazing help to Stacie, as the nurse friend who has held her hand during this difficult journey, and she is participating in the walk now in Stacie’s honor.
