People In Masks Should Not Be Trusted

Its getting cold here, but I guess I can thaw on the plane back to the US. Not the best of weeks. Was really sick earlier, but doing well now.
It seems that I'm the only person in a flat of seven that hears people knocking at the door. It kind of sucks. So instead of sleeping like I was, now I'm awake... wohoo. So you guys get pictures in an attempt to get myself sleepy enough to go back to dream land.

Madi loo played with a snake... I'm shocked and amazed.

Last weekend Courtney came to visit me. It made me very happy. It was wonderful to get to see her. She came in friday and left monday morning. Friday night we made a massive grilled cheese samwhich for dinner and soup. Saturday we went to Arbroath with some of my flatmates to walk on the cliffs (thats what the pictures are from) and then Sunday we had traditional Scottish breakfast, shopping and a movie. It was a wonderful weekend. I was sad to see her go back to Leeds at an ungodly hour Monday morning. Though Dundee is very pretty that early when no one else is around.

On to pictures!

Just getting to the cliffs was quite interesting. We missed one bus cus Kara woke up when we rang the bell to her flat. Then we missed the next bus because the bus ticket lady told us the wrong stance number and us being college students didnt think to check things out. It was ok though, because after that we went in search of lunch and found a new bar. This bar is heaven. Why you ask? Because they have coffee. Coffee for 70p. Thats about a buck fourty for people back home. This is nearly unheard of anywhere esle in Dundee. So I got a mocha, and it was delicous.

We finally made it on our bus to Arbroath.
Courtney on the bus, thats her camera/video camera thing. She took lots of pictures, it was really cute.

Here is one of me she took on the bus. I'm making a ridiculous face, but what is new?

Here's Kara dressed and ready for adventure.

We made it safely to Arbroath. Then we read a map wrong and wondered around looking for the tourist office.
At least the town was really cute. Look a church! And a german girl!

After getting directions we did more wandering around because, apparently, kids in Arbroath have so little do to they like to switch the signs for where the tourist office actually is. Wonderful.

We finally made it to the start of the cliff walk.
Courtney looking pretty. Thats the sea behind her if you couldnt tell.

Gin eating a samwhich. Its not a outing without a picture of someone eating.

Christina.

There were some kids playing football across from the sea. So I took a picture of them. Cus I thought they were cute, here it is.

I have a lot of pretty pictures of the cliffs and the sea. But I'm going to throw them up all at once, because there is just not that much you can say about pretty pictures of rocks and water.

So before that you get portrait shots!
Because when you are on cliffs you have to take pictures of yourself looking pretty in the wind.

Christina!

Courtney!

Kara!

Me!

Even Mickey got into it. I think he thinks he's a german model.

Ok time for pretty cliff pictures!

Crevice.

Another hole in rock.

BIRDS!... mine!

Another crevice. Ok, it may be the same crevice from a diffent angle.. I'm not sure.

After the walk alone the cliffs, we took a hike through the woods to get back to Arbroath.
Look TREES!

more trees.

It was a really awesome trip and a great weekend. We have two pictures left. One is a group shot. Kara and her amazing camera strike again.

The other is me and the germans. I was hiding from the wind. I do that a lot. Me and the wind dont get along well. Silly wind.

Peace, and love to everyone. Monday marks exactly four weeks till I fly to my new home in Texas. Its kind of crazy, and I know it will fly.
