I'm getting all emotional. I hate that.

Life can sometimes get away from you, I should know as I haven't worked in about 9 years. I have been studying though, whilst taking care of the little ones. But then all of a sudden you realise that they've grown up on their own with no need for mum anymore.

Loves you, and chin up babe.

Love Sonia :)

:) Thank you, hon.

Yeah, life can definitely get away from you. I do wish I could get paid for writing fanfic. That would just solve everything, don't you think?

I wish you luck with the job hunt - that you get something you can really enjoy. Midwifery is a wonderful profession.

And I cry too - very easily. It hasn't been a real trip to the cinema is I haven't shed at least one tear! (No matter the film.)

:) I'm glad I'm not the only one who cries. Goodness, I felt like a watering pot at that damn movie yesterday.

Thank you, hon.

I think Mr Dicky was the most embarrassed when I cried at Terminator 2...

Hmmm... I can see tearing up during that movie. :)

I hope you're able to renew all your certs and license. You love babies and the whole delivery process, and I can't imagine anyone better to help nervous pregnant ladies.

I don't understand why there aren't more nursing jobs. Last year, all the talk here was of shortage of nurses, although the current uncertainty of U.S. healthcare might have something to do with it.

There are shortages in certain areas of the country. There is not a shortage where I live. At the height of the shortage here, the powers that be thought it'd be awesome to open 2 new schools, plus increase by double the # of students from the program I was in. It took them about 3 years to flood the market.

By the time you go yourself recertified there might be more jobs going. The recession could be easing by then, and all the babies will be ready that were generated at a time when there was nothing to do but stay in ;-)

That is very possible and I'm hoping it's the case. When I was emailing people last night, I actually asked them if there was any point in doing this right now.
