My toes are tapping,
My calves are fatted,
My knees are knocking,
My legs are dogged,
My belly is buttoned,
My back is aching,
My fingers are fiddling,
My hands are idle,
My arms are banded,
My elbows are greased,
My shoulders are broad,
My brain is burning,
My lips are kissing,
My nose is twitching,
And my eyes are watching god.

This may—or may not—be of interest to any of you.

I wrote a couple of non-fiction short stories a few years ago, which are more about me than writing, and I came across one of them the other day. I'm not sure how I feel about it.
