My sister, Stephanie, is going into the testing phase on Monday. They'll be doing a needle biopsy on the enlarged lymph node on her neck, and give her a PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scan to pinpoint where all the other hot spots are besides the lung, if any. Until the biopsy results come back (Thursday), it's not "officially" cancer, but who's kidding here?
I got my dad's medical woes, heart attacks and strokes, and I thought I got the bad half. Yeah, right.
