Strictly Saturday
SO there are two new dances, and I'm a bit nervous, because they are two of my FAVOURITE dances in general, and they are always done so well on Dancing with the Stars. I was a bit worried that Anton is REALLY not going to be able to Charleston. I'm worried about Ali and her poor poorly foot.
Chris & Ola, Charleston. I REALLY liked it. Ola has been adorable this year. She was cute and perky and lovely and that dance really suited her. I liked the swimming thing. Chris was fine too. I liked it.
Ricky & Crazy-Face Natalie, rock n roll. Meh, I thought it was a bit bland and staid. I think Gary and I can do better than that, without the lifts obviously, but still. Meh.
Ali & Brian, charleston. OH I LOVE HER SHOES! And her hair. I was so worried that she'd be out, but that totally ROCKED. I can see that her feet hurt and that some of it was more careful than it could have been, but I really REALLY liked that dance, and it was so fun. FUN.
Natalie & Vincent, rock n roll. OMG look at her hair. I am expecting her to do well in this, I imagine it's right up her alley and she'll be totally giving it some welly. Crikey, Vincent looks more nervous than she does! I LOVE HER DRESS. Her spare arm is annoying me, she is really waving it about. Hm. She clearly loved every second, which is what Strictly is about, but it wasn't am-MAZE-ing.
Laila & Anton, charleston. I love her dress. Oooh I liked the kicky face to face move thing at the start. Anton is very VERY hammy, but that was generally fun, if a bit heavy.
I would choose a bottom two of Ricky and Natalie from that lot to be honest, with Nat to go. Sorry Nat.
Viennese Waltz: meh. It was ok. I'm not a huge fan. Ali got top marks, so yay. And she's top tonight, so yay. I'm still voting though, I would be so sad if she was bottom two. Although if she was, she'd be through, because who could beat her?
Pro foxtrot: I do like Matthew. I was cooking though, so I was only half watching.
James Morrison: meh. Gosh, it's Darren and Lilia again. Are they really bored in the week or something? They were on last week - with that HIDEOUS "swing" dance, which was truly awful.
Results: Ali safe, YAY. Chris, YAY. AW look at Olachops. AWWW. Laila, ooooooooh. That means Ricky in the dance off, HA. And also both rock n rolls in the dance off too. INTERESTING. I suppose they'll save Ricky, but ooooh. OOOH though. That dance does not suit Natlie really, but of those two, in the dance off, I enjoyed Natalie's MUCH more than Ricky's.
AW, I just totally welled up for Nat, she is so nice and bouncy and genuine, she's adorable. Awww.
