So this friday or thursday or something I won passes to see Live in the 99x studios for their Live X...
and I thought it would be a kick ass weekend leading up to monday, but I was mistaken to say the least. Friday was alright I worked at the doctors office and got off at 12:30 sat around for a couple of hours, and went into the GAP for training from 4 - 7. After that I went to Ashleys to see how she was feeling. Well she wasn't feeling very well at all so I spent some time with her and brought her dinner and took care of her a little.
Saturday - Wake up go to work at 8. Leave work at 9:30 to take Ashley to the doctor because her fever hadn't broken yet. Work for another hour while she is being seen, and then take her back home before the real adventure begins... Around 11 Ashley got so bad that I had no other choice but to take her to the emergency room and call out on my first day at the GAP. Well I spent a little while with her at the hospital(which I am not complaining about I am just glad that she is mostly better) and Bryce(Ashley's brother) comes back with his car, and this is around 3 so I end up going to my second job to work until 10:30. Long long day coupled with the fact that...
I had to work Monday during the Live X...
Being responsible sucks, but if it were any other than my second day at the GAP I probably would have called out. Sunday I didn't wake up until 11:30 because after work saturday night I went back over to Ashley's because once they pumped to IV bags into her so she was actually hydrated and some antibiotics to kill her Kidney infection she was actually feeling better(Woohoo). Then monday ended up not being so bad. I worked both jobs. Was complimented by what excellent customer service I gave to a few customers, saw an old friend that I hadn't talked to in forever and pretty much had a fun time at work which hasn't happened anywhere else I have ever worked so I am overall glad I took this job at the GAP...
When I found out about this I called the station to see if I could give the passes to one of my friends or if they could give them away on air again so as to not waste the awesome opportunity to see a great band up close and personal which doesn't come around so often, but the guy at the station told me they would just have to mark my name off the list. Which sucks, but oh well.
In any case I hope you weekend was more relaxing than mine.
edit: So after all this was said I just want to make it clear that I still <3 my girlfriend very much and was happy to do everything that I could to help get over this ridiculous infection. I was just trying to convey that it was stressful and I was worried about her... so :p
