Holy cow! Lis and I went to the WSU Madrigal's Dinner tonight. It was soooo freakin' awesome! The music was incredible... madrigal singers (medieval music) and a trumpet ensemble! And everybody was dressed up like the 16th century and was dancing and acting... everyone acted out the comedic version of Romeo and Juliet: East Side Story. It was awesome. And for the grand finale... all the men got together and sang their rendition of Robin Hood: Men in Tights- complete with pulling their tights up and doing the can-can! I mean, how many men do you know that do the can-can? That's gotta be a pretty secure guy... and to top it all off... a 6 course meal! Wow, awesome food. I won't be eating for a little while... but definitely worth every single bite =) I think I'll be making the dreaded drive back to Pullman next year just to go to this! And drag a few people along too...
