alexandral's post about the kdrama she's watching, I thought I could do the same... I don't have much free time but I'm working my way to watch them all ;)
IRIS kdrama. I'm in episode 10 (for weeks now). I stopped watching because, you see, I know what's coming (because I like spoilering myself), so I don't feel the urge to watch it all right now, but when I started it I watched it not-stop until I reach ep. 10. I really love it! I think I like conspiracy/cops/action dramas, it seems.
It will probably be one of my favorite dramas of that genre and Lee Byung Hun makes my knees weak... He's so good at looking hurt/confuse... Besides he looks hot no matter what.
NINGEN NO SHOUMEI (a.k.a. Proof of Man) jdrama. Starring Yutaka Takenouchi. I'm a bit of a fool because I knew this jdrama was still being subbed and even knowing that I started watching it just because, and now I'm in episode 5, I'm loving it to bits and I can't keep watching because I hate being in the last episode available.
Munesue Ichiro (Takenouchi) is a cop who gets a promotion to Central Headquarters. They have to investigate the death of a black young man from the States. Little by little Munesue discovers links with his own pasts and to memories he tries to forget, but he's determined to solve the case not matter what.
Yukata is the main actor here, thing I truly appreciate. He's great playing a brooding cop with a dramatic childhood. I like the guess stars and the fact that there are several plots that will get together at the end (I'm pretty sure of it). It gave the opportunity of watching Yutaka speaking English (he does it pretty nicely, not as my beloved SMAP do, I'm afraid :S)
I just wish the rest of eps were released soon!!
GET KARL, OH SOO JUNG! kdrama. After discovering Oh Ji Ho thanks to the people in my flist who's currently watching Chuno, I decided to go for something lighter until I get myself to watch another drama (and an historic one).
I'm in episode 4. I'm having great fun!
Oh Ji Ho plays a fat man who is studing law and has the perfect girlfriend. She is with him because he's passing the law exam and that means a great job, status... The way of their wedding he failed his exam and as good as he is, he tells her right before the wedding... She runs off at the begining of the ceremony. He calls her and tells her that if she leaves him he will die and she agrees that he should do just that.
Eight years later he comes back with other name and other looks turned into a golf champion for his revenge toward the woman who broke his heart. However he finds that his ex-girlfriend hasn't improved in her situation and now he doesn't know if he can carry on his plan. At the same time she tries to get him back but can he trust her and her feelings again?
As a person who loved Love on a Diet, an Andy Lau movie where he and Sammi Cheng wore fat dresses/make up, I kind of loved episode 1. The heroine may be considered a bit annoying but I think that was their intention and she does her part pretty well. Oh Ji Ho's character, Karl (after losing his fat dress) looks the hottest and I love his character.
The next on the list: Rondo (I already started a bit of ep. 1), Ice World, Boss, Chuno, Last Scandal...
