Clean up

About 120 frames of clean up done this week. Now all I need is to clean up the backgrounds (i.e. the table and props) and it's ready for colouring.

I'm always a wee bit jealous of people who can draw- me being hard pressed to draw a smiley face that doesn't look like a two year old with no fingers drew it- though when i was little it was my dream to draw cartoons so my sister could watch them.

add to that the making Mike Atually Happy. You must generally rock. :o)

Ah but it's worth it to watch it move and come to life.

Embarrassing story: We were at the Bradford Animation Festival once and animator Barry Purves was interviewing another animator called Joanna Quinn.

Barry said "My stop motion puppets upstairs. I feel as if they are real living people. I need to go upstairs just to say hi to them sometimes. Do you ever feel that with your work?"

and Joanna replied "No, barry, I'm not that sad."

and the audience all laughed.

My friend and I shifted in our seats...because when he asked that question we were internally nodding.

Yeah but my leg feels weird.

It's like i slept badly on it, but the discomfort will not go away. I'm hoping It will ease up when I go for a walk later, but it doesn't make it easy to sit at an animation desk.
