I have eaten so many blueberries from my CSA the past few weeks that I am at risk of turning into Violet Beauregarde. But I give you this ( lovely cocktail )

After taking the girls (K. and two of her school friends) blueberry picking, I ended up freezing about 3 c. worth for use in future muffins. For a while it seemed like it was all bloobs all the time! ;-p

The stir-fry looks yummy.

I'm hoping to get out to the orchard soon, as peaches are ripe! And they are so yummy!

Oh that's a good idea. I should freeze some too.

I've seen the peaches cropping up. As you are slightly south of me, they are coming up a bit sooner. I'm very excited!

Nope! The scapes are the shoots that come up when the bulb is growing. It's garlicky but not sharp, and especially yummy for pesto or with eggs.

The blueberry lemonade is refreshing without the added kick. Give it a go!

Known as garlic shoots here, believe it or not :o)

There are plenty of blueberries about atm so I might just do that.

We've been mainlining strawberries and blueberries with clotted cream recently. Naughty but gorgeous!

Ah yes, shoot makes more sense than scape actually.

Blueberries and strawberries with clotted cream. Mmmm. Make it even more decadent and top off with some vanilla sugar!
