I managed to get a ticket at the last minute to the Bell House event in Brooklyn for the DW event! And all I have to say about the two-part opener is...

Also, RIP Elisabeth Sladen. The whole fandom is gutted by her loss. She was taken from us way too soon. Sarah Jane still had so many adventures ahead of her, a most beloved companion and how lucky that we got her for a new series for as long as we did. It was good to be amongst other fans tonight. There were surprises and camaraderie and COSplayers and perhaps one too many gin and tonics. So I feel good and I'm just glad I managed to score a ticket at the last minute thanks to my friend BE.
