(no subject)
Is it weird that a GV guy I slept with on and off for nearly three years is now dating a girl I went to charlevoix high school with? Yes, I think so. Especially after he got pissed at me over a) my problems b) his inability to cope with being "in love" with a high school junior from NY. Yeah, love, that was it.
In other news...raced last night, which was a crazy time. Dad put in a piece of the headfoils upside down...yeah, so basically we couldn't get the headsail on, which is never good. Tried to sew it so it would go in there smoother but that didn't work either...SO we used the staysail for a little while (in like 5 knots of wind...we call that sail the "drifter" b/c we usually use it in like .2 knots of wind) - were able to eventually borrow the tool we needed to fix it and get on our way. Oh, and four spinnaker sets and take-downs in there, too. It was a tough night up there on foredeck. I'm sore today.
After racing, I went up to Leo's in Petoskey and hung out with Adam. I beat him three times at pool. Granted, he was drinking and I wasn't...but still. I'm pretty proud of myself on that one. Speaking of drinking...I'm sick of hanging out in bars and not being able to drink. Two weeks from today and I will finally be legal. My birthday falls inconviently at the end of the most boring month of my year. Fantastic.
