No point in updating

But in an attempt to get somewhat up to date:

Passed my national registry exams, both written and practical . . . so now's it's official: I can save life and administer drugs legally. Too bad it's going to take a few months to get my license transferred to a different state, but, eh, that's how it goes. But seriously, the NREMT needs to get with the program and start using computers for this shit.

Moved to Boston with Morgs. The apartment is AMAZING. Lots of space, high ceilings, natural light, and hardwood floors throughout. And the parking situation isn't too horrible, although we'll see what the winter brings.

Still don't have a job, but I've already been to one promising interview, and have 3 more lined up within the next two weeks, so that's good. I'm scared of settling for the first thing that comes along and getting sucked into a job I hate, but at the same time, I need to pay the bills.

Got a (very) part-time job teaching Sunday school at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in Boston. That's First Church, as in the first UU church not only in Boston, but also in the USA. FYI: Boston is pretty much like mecca for UUs, and as cheesy as it is, I'm pretty excited to get involved in that community again.

Went through the usual personal drama that seems to accompany all of life's great changes. Think I'm getting through it all right, tho.

Reconnected with a friend from UAHS who I haven't seen since our senior year there, and now he's getting his Ph.D. at MIT -- so that's at least one person I know here, so I don't have to keep mooching off of Morgs for social connections.

I think that's it. Just waiting to hear back about jobs and hoping that I don't go crazy in the meantime . . . although I am having some fantastic conversations with the cats.

And please -- if we're out of touch, give me a call . . . I'd love the company!
