I feel like I should write about the day I had. I also feel like it would be a gross invasion of two families' privacy. Saving the details for what I'm sure will be running through my mind for the next several weeks, I had two pediatric full-arrests today. One (11y/o) was already dead when I got on scene. The other (5mos) was brought to my clinical site, and we continued to work for about 15-20min until time of death was called at 20:04.
My thoughts are with those families tonight. I am so sorry for your loss. No parent should ever have to out-live their child.
