I've had it for a few days now, but I had not had the chance to post about it.
My new toy is a Sony Reader
I was always the first one that was never too exited about Ebooks. However, because sometimes I pick ridiculously uncomfortable bags, this amazing device has solved all my problems. It still doesn't substitute a real book, but if you like to carry a book while you wait in between doing stuff, this thing is it. I love it! For now, I'm reading in it
A great and terrible beauty by Libba Bray and so far I like this book a lot.
Like I said before, it still doesn't substitute a real book. I like real books better, but for work this has solved a huge problem. It is thin enough to be able to carry in anything, and I'm delighted that now I really can pick a book and carry on reading anywhere. I think I maybe very tempted to buy the real book if I like the book a lot in Ebook format. Maybe it's silly but I can't help it.
The only down part of it? I can't read endings! A creature of habit this only problem is absolutely giving me a slow death.
Has anyone read The Gemma Doyle series? How did you like it? Let me know what you didn't like.
Ahem, Ahem.... Hint, Hint...
I know
doxys has a similar device to read ebooks. But, does anyone else on my flist has something around the area of an ebook reader?
