Surprise Your Mum with a Mother's Day Bouquet from Floral Garage Singapore

May 01, 2018 20:00

Hello people!

Mother's Day is less than 2 weeks' time. What do you intend to buy for your Mum?

When we ask my Mum what she wants for Mother's Day, she'll always choose money. Either that, or we pay for something that she'll need to spend on, such as a bag or a pair of shoes to replace her spoilt ones. Her gifts are largely very practical but we're happy as long as she's happy.

This year was slightly different because she chose to receive cosmetics which she then used for my Sister's wedding.

On top of that, we ordered a bouquet of flowers for her from Floral Garage Singapore and have it delivered to our house. I then realized that Mum has actually never received flowers before so this was officially her first bouquet. :O

Even though Mum doesn't request for flowers, I guessed receiving them makes her feel happy and special. I mean, who doesn't?

Floral Garage Singapore is having a Mother's Day early bird 10% discount for their bouquets if you place your order from now till 3 May. See details of promo code and delivery/self-collection dates above. If your Mum has never received flowers before, maybe this can be the opportunity to surprise her with her first bouquet.

Floral Garage has a wide variety of fresh bouquets which you can customise for your Mum. If you want flowers that can last for years, go for dried flowers or preserved flowers which looked equally gorgeous. The Enchanted Rose which is a preserved flower must be inspired from the rose in Beauty and the Beast.

This Mother's Day, Floral Garage also specially crafted Edgy Veggie which serves as a vegetable and fruit box. If your Mum prefers food to flowers, you can even make your Mum some salad thereafter.

I will recommend you to scroll through the list of flower types though because they do have A LOT of choices. You can also do add-ons if you want to add Ferrero Rocher chocolates or a heart cushion to the bouquet.

Delivery is a standard charge of $9.70 per trip and the florist can do same day delivery at the next available timeslot. This also means that if you make a last minute order in the morning, you can still get it delivered in the afternoon provided that the time slot is still available. If you want the bouquet to turn up at a specific date and time at your Mum's house, you can go for a specific time delivery at a fee of $30.

If you live near Upper Serangoon Shopping Centre, even better! Simply drop by for a self-collection at NO CHARGE.

Since it was Mum's first time receiving flowers, she wanted flowers that wouldn't die so quickly so that she could display them at the living room and see them for a longer time.

So I went straight to Wildflowers where it features an assortment of dried flower bouquets, and Mum selected the Heather bouquet.

Giving Mum a little photoshoot with her bouquet.

Aren't the flowers beautiful? They smell amazing too!

At $79.90, it was pricier because there were a couple of fresh purple roses within the bouquet but overall, it was still a fantastic choice.

The colour combination of Heather and its variety of flowers were stunning and really stood out among the rest.

Over time, the fresh roses would die and blend in with the other flowers as they dry up.

No watering is required so it's truly maintenance free and can last for a long time.

The bouquet comes with a card too so you can get the florist to add a heartfelt message to your Mum.

This Mother's Day, go on and put a smile to your Mum's face with a bouquet of flowers from Floral Garage. She might say 'Aiyah, don't need to buy me flowers la!' but she would be so happy inside. :D
