Hey all! Today I decided to rec some ABHs. I know not everyone is a fan, but I have read some very well written ones lately.

My first choice takes us to Oxford when Rupert was a student. A spell gone wonky sends "you" back in time and we find a 20 something Rupert. The story is Oxford by Gylzgirl. It's rated at a FRT. It's cute and funny and well ( Read more... )

JFYI, here's how you deconstruct "vir pulcher":
vir = man
pulcher = beautiful

so ... gorgeous man ('cuz he's way more than handsome)

First, thank you to Helenkacan. Latin? Not my language. :) And now that I know what it means, no wonder she thought that when he took his clothes off. I'd think it too. :)

Second, Ruth! Cool! This was a great read. I *loved* the bit the the poetry in chocolate body paint and I want "Susie" for my friend. :) Hot, fun, perfect, dear. Great job!

Thank you! I did notice, however, that the link in the post goes to a version that misses some of the text out - because of upload/formatting issues at that site. There was a more complete version at Of Demons and Destiny, but horror of horrors, that archive seems to have disappeared! I need to reupload at Headquarters, clearly.

Ahhh! Maybe that was why the Latin seemed random to me. Maybe if some of the bits weren't missing it would have made sense to me.

And dude! ODD is just gone! This is kind of freaking me out. I'll be six shades of bummed if it's gone forever.

Thanks for letting me know what was the what with the story.

Edit function FTW. It seems as if thirty-plus of my stories have gone down with the good ship 'Of Demons and Destiny'. The question is, can I be bothered to put them all up at Headquarters?
