Saturday Duo
Tonight I bring you two fics, starting from the same prompt, that went two very different and wonderful places.
The first was written by
antennapedia. Dust on his Hands from the Sky is summarized by the author as "Xander flees to the place Scoobies go when they can't be near the Slayer any more. But the Hellmouth has a few last kicks in the gut to land before it's done with everyone." It's so much more. It's wrenching, wonderful angst, that has an ending worthy of the story. The main pairing is Giles/Xander, although there are others. FRM

sahiya. Why I'm Here is fantastic, as Xander flees to Giles in England once again. This story goes a different, and less gut-wrenchingly angsty place than the former. I love it for the gratuitous pasta making session, amongst other wonderful scenes. Giles/Xander FRM.
