Random Sh@t I read

Jun 21, 2011 20:54

For those who don't know, I often spend my free time at home studying odd things; cults, subcultures, conspiracy theories, unacceptable ideas, etc. I read books and websites, and watch all the documentaries I can find on the subject, my interest usually wanes after a month or two. After much prompting by my husband I have decided to post these things here, anything I am currently reading or watching, with the disclaimer that I don't necessarily believe in or support the ideas presented. Currently I am reading about alternative historical chronologies. At the moment this: http://books.google.com/books?id=YcjFAV4WZ9MC&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q&f=fals ,
though I don't know that I'll read all 7 volumes. I plan on also looking into the theory that the dark ages never happened. I'll keep putting up what I'm looking at here and feel free to give advice if you have it. I think it's a good idea to listen to opinions that you don't agree with and not to assume that something you've been taught since childhood is absolute truth, but you should consider all the options with a critical, rational mind.
Come on, it's a better use of my time than reality T.V. right?   ;)
