Well, it's raining here, since Thursday, and this is a very good thing. However, when my kids have been trapped indoors for so long they become insane. I find myself inventing obstacle courses that go all over the house and involve running up the stairs and crawling over and under beds.
Jhy started Kindergarten and seems to be loving it. His teacher's name is Kaitlin Laitinen (pronounced just like George W. Bush says lightning) and Jhy thinks she's the prettiest lady in the whole world.
I've been trying to slowly paint the interior of the house. Jhy wants his room to be black with pink and green skull and crossbones. After his mother repeatedly refused, he's decided he'll settle for either red or blue with Spiderman decals.
Painting Solace's room:
Friday I take Solace to look at paints, after more than an hour of looking at 6 shades of nearly identical spring/mint green paint she finally settles on Everglade Glen. We go home, I move toys to the closet, furniture to Jhy's room and patch all the nail holes in her walls. I put masking tape all over, tape down a drop cloth, and paint primer on all the walls. We let the primer dry overnight and Saturday I start painting, I paint a large section of the largest wall in the room and then Ashran and I finish that wall and two others. I go to an optometrist appointment, leaving Ashran to finish the painting.
Solace's response "Thank you SOOO much DADDY for painting my room, it's beautiful and princessy, you did such a nice job!!" hugs and kisses
Oh well, She's still cute :)
