An email thread between my companies VP and CEO wound up getting cc'ed to me to inform me that they'll be buying me some network engineering training material. They didn't bother to remove the content from the previous messages between the 2 of them, so I was able to hear this from our VP
"Darcy is a really intelligent guy, and makes everything better that he works on ... In my opinion, he is the best technical support employee we have. We should encourage his growth. "
