IM watching north country. I bought it tonite.
Based on a true story.
I am so upset.
I cant believe some of the stuff that happened and is still happening to not just women but anyone who is different or pits themselves against the odds.
A husband that beats her. she leaves him. she survives that. and then she gets a job in the mine, and she practically gets raped. she gets threats, she says something about it and it gets worse.
It makes me so angry.
I recommend the movie. sometimes people need to see stuff from an outside point of view to light a fire under them. I hope that i dont have to endure it.
