I was not looking forward to getting out of bed in the wee hours (read: fffrrreezing) to catch our flight to Pisa, Italy.
You could see Florence was a little bit sleep deprived.

Pisa was a lot warmer than London --thank goodness. It was a little stressful being a passenger in Wei's Italian-driven car. For one, we had a big-ass car for the narrow streets in Pisa. For two, Italy is on left-hand drive and Wei had some trouble initially orientating himself.
The Leaning Tower was a lot bigger in my mind; it wasn't located at the end of the narrow walkway and defitely not part of a church compound.

It was a comic relief seeing most of the tourists do the cliche poses ie. supporting the tower. Wei was too late to catch a series of 5 people doing different things --would have made a great shot.

Kissing some tower?
From then on, we took a 2 hour drive to San Gimignano where we stayed for the next 3 nights.
