Long Lazy Weekend
What a difference an (extra) day makes.
And I just loved the fact that it rained quite a bit as well.
Wei spent the most of the Hari Raya holiday tinkering away at the pc; I watched re-runs of Gilmore Girls, did some chores and cleared away some stuff.
I felt like cooking yesterday and we whipped up 'claypot' chicken rice except that we didn't cook it in the claypot nor is it filled with black sauce.
As much as I like wet rice (as opposed to grainy ones) I wish it wasn't like 'mui fun'. It smelt lovely though - I felt like running my tongue to the bottom of the rice pot. This is a great one dish meal worth repeating.
