I am feeling a LOT better than yesterday. I just have a bit of an ache in my side now, so I think I'm on the mend. But since I'm staying fairly immobile to be on the safe side, I'm kinda bored. So... here are some links to songs I really like!
Johnny Lang - Darker Side (.m4a) Smooth and bluesy. The kind of song you'd dance to with a tall, dark stranger, if you know what I'm saying, and I think you do.
Beyonce - Halo (.mp3) One of the best songs Beyonce's put out in a while, imho.
Michael Buble - I'm Your Man (.mp3) Like that sultry, slightly lounge-ish sound? You'll probably like this. It's slow in some parts, faster in others, and it totally works for me. Plus he sings "I'll howl at your beauty like a dog in heat" and it sounds hot. To me. And:
Totes my sekrit crooner boyfriend.
The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name (.mp3) I hated this song when I first heard it as a clip on VH1 or MTV. It was just the chorus bits, and I hated it. But then I heard the whole thing while driving in the car, and I loved it. The verses are so much better than the chorus, and the layered up chorus at the end rocks.
T.I. (feat. Justin Timberlake) - Dead and Gone (.mp3) I mostly adore this song because of the dance from So You Think You Can Dance Australia with BJ and Talia choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon.
And hell... here's the Amy and BJ routine with Beyonce's "Halo" that I also adore.

I also love Pilobolus. I would be grateful to be 10% that graceful.
The Bird and the Bee - My Love (.mp3) Sweet, infectious pop. This is one of those bands I couldn't believe took me so long to discover.
And finally... Tupac - Keep Ya Head Up (.mp3) Because some of the lyrics in this song are so honestly put that they've stuck with me for years.
