Life in Tianjin
Life in Tianjin is getting better. I'm getting more accustomed to it and I'm starting to learn all the bus routes so I don't have to take the taxi everywhere. Having lived in Beijing, I kind of put Tianjin in the back burner. There's not a lot of things to do around here and not a lot of expats to flirt with. The people are nice, however, and it's fun practicing Mandarin with them cause they are so patient with me.
Most of the kids who got in the scholarship are Korean and they are quite good. They are separated in the other class, the advanced class. I am with 2 other Filipinos who have been studying Mandarin for 3 years or more so I have quite some catching up to do.
Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr are blocked here. I'm surprised Livejournal was not blocked so I have been able to download a whole bunch of albums and music videos for my amusement.
Did I mention this place is devoid of cute guys????
Therefore, I am still thinking about that person.
UGH. Utter torture. I need to drown myself in the Yangtze River.
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME???? WHY? I DIDN'T ASK FOR THIS.
