AirFrance over booked my flight to Paris, therefore I missed one day in the City of Love. It was my first time flying with them, so they didn't make a good first impression because of this incident. When I get back to Brazil I will receive some Euros from them to make up for the inconvenience though.
This was my first time traveling to a foreign country all by myself. I was kind of worried about who was going to sit by my side on the plane. When I found my seat, the guy with whom I was about to spend the next 12 hours, looked at me and smiled. He was a young Brazilian man, who looked gay to me. I happen to know a gay man when I see one. That was the best thing that could've happened, 'cause he was VERY friendly and funny, like most gay guys I know.
It was a great flight. All the passengers had a private TV, with various options such as games, quizzes, music, movies and info about the flight. Man, I got so hooked on that thing, that I didn't sleep. Actually, I dozed off a few times, and because of that I can say that I watched "Troy" 6 times. Every time I missed some parts due to my naps, I had to watch it again, from whatever part it was. So now, the history of "Troie" is all mixed up in my head. I also watched "Spider Man 2", and another movie that I will never know the name because all the titles were in French. Talking about French, I totally had to speak this language when I was in Paris, because most of the people I asked for help couldn't speak "understandable" English. I wish you guys could see it. I've never taken one single lesson of French, yet I managed to communicate with those fine people. It's in the blood, people. It's all in the Pointis.
The flight to Stockholm wasn't so good, but it was quite short. I was SO relieved when I saw my sister and brother-in-law waiting for me at the airport. And I was SO cold when I left it, which wasn't a bad thing because all that smoke coming out of my mouth 'caused by the low temperature REALLY amused me.
This is my second day in Sweden, and I'm loving every minute of it. I would write more about my trip but I don't want this to be too long. LJers hardly ever read long entries especially when it's just some boring tales about my little adventures. It might be boring to you, but it's fun to me, so I had to record some of my memories here. Au revoir :)
