Fanmixes - the update to my obsession

So it's been awhile. My iTunes library is getting slowly whipped into shape. But all the tweaking has made my OCD about mixes even worse and it amuses chat so I'll share.

The Walking Dead is my smallest playlist folder - it has 3 sub folders and a total of 26 individual playlists - all total 2748 songs.

That sounds like a playlist that could last for quite awhile.

But, I meant how big is your actual music folder if you don't mind sharing? :)

OH! No - I don't mind - I'm at 141.03GB (71.4 Days) and climbing. 26099 Songs - 3549 Albums. Prior to my external drive falling off the desk while in use - I was over 200 GB and was close to 6 months of music.

Hey - 30 gb is SANE!

Yes it's all iTunes - but it's on the Stora - which is a 1TB network drive - so it's not on the laptop. I've only got my full library when I'm at home - otherwise it's just what's on my phone. I listen to music quite a bit and will run through 2 or 3 playlists at work a week - so I'm constantly rotating.

I got an iPod nano when they were new - Mom won it in a raffle. So even though I can't stand Macs - I'm addicted to iTunes. I got the iPhone3GS when AT&T was the only game in town and still offering unlimited data. So - I'm pretty much entrenched at this point unless something drastic happens.

I don't buy much from iTunes - it's all the podcasts/free content. I used mycokerewards to get free Napster downloads then Rhapsody (though that's going away too now.) Amazon.com has tons of free music on the site - I tend to grab everything I can and delete after I've listened to it awhile if I really can't stand it ( ... )
