yesterday i was drunk most of the day.
it was very beneficial to standing in lines and dealing with bureaucracy.
today i began class and as usual was late to my first one: Social Methodology.
it was very boring, but unfortunately i did not take sociology in undergrad, so i must now take this crash course. please help me. this insanity goes on twice a week T/Th from 9 til 1020.
later on, i have what i will refer to as my stream of consciousness professor, who teachers philosophical foundations of international relations. basically it pleases me greatly :) we talk about Kant, Hegel, Marx, and all sorts of fun stuff. We even get to talk about Lenin, everyone's favourite commie.
so that was today.
tomorrow i have class from 1030 til 1330 which might make me cranky, but oh well.
then i am going to run around, finish my errands, and then schmooze with the other grads and our advisors at 1730. i swear to god kids, i have been drinking more in the past few days than the entire ungraduate experience. not only are we snootier and smarter, we are also more likely to become alcoholics! yay graduate students!

by the way, i spent entirely too much money on books today and it made me cry.
