I have a Sony Ericsson W580i.  It has annoyed me IMMENSELY that while it is MP3 compatable, it will not play the mp3's I upload to it as ringers unless I bought it from their Roger's site.

Grrr.  Paying $4 for a song I already own is more than annoying!

SOOOo today....  *cues music*   I have resolved the issue!!!!

The ipod.... I changed a couple of settings ( on a whim ) in Itunes and voila.  Restored all files and upgraded firmware.  Who knows!  it works and with the new Iphone firmware that allows me to use iphone programs.  YAY!
