rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated
hi, flist, hi! i am still alive! you know, barely. mostly. i arrived in fl safe and sound nearly two weeks ago, and i've been busy getting the new place habitable, plus we have yet to sort out internet at the new place. (the satellite cable people are allegedly coming by on friday morning, but i will believe it when i see it. i am tired of missing the few shows i watch, though, dammit!)
so far, i am settling into south florida fairly well. i'm not really homesick, but baby hormones and feeling cut off with no cable and no internet are making me a wee bit crazy. i just need to finish getting our stuff settled and get a routine going, and i'm sure i'll feel much better.
so, since we are still internet-less at home, i'm at the bakery across the street from the condo, stealing their wifi and having a summer berry squeeze smoothie. i've caught up on lj, i won't even bother with twitter, and if you emailed me, i emailed you back. i doubt i'll be around much for the time being, but you all should email me and text me and call me and stuff! i miss you guys! i miss being online all day!
