Well its been a while since Ive written anything here...
Not much to say really... My job sucks, but it brings in some money.
To make myself feel better I then spend this money on really cool and shiny things...
A while back I decided that I needed some headphones... so I looked into it a bit, and tried as many as I could get my hands on.
The end result of all of this was:
Grado SR125i ... and I like ^_^
About a month then passed, and I got back to thinking about booze... something that I have been planning for a long time, but put on a back burner.
With funds not looking quite as good as could be hoped, I have had to scale back on my original plans (or at least postpone some of the extravagance ;-) )
Anyway... I still ended up bulking out my whisky collection a bit (its been getting a bit thin on the ground lately), and it gives me some nice things to try in the near future :-) (and in time for Lizs birthday, which is all good :D )
The Glenmorangie has been with me the longest, and Ive been too busy finishing off my other bottles to start in on the Dalwhinnie since I bought that.
The new additions to my collection are all Ardbeg of one sort or another.
With the amount I was spending on the drink itself, I thought "What the hell", and decided to buy a couple of their own branded glasses as well.
Everything I read was telling me that a specific shape glass was what I wanted to help concentrate the aromas, so given the peatiness Ive come to prefer in my whisky, it seemed silly to save the £2 or whatever and keep drinking it out of tumblers...
Thus the glasses with the silly-looking hats were bought >_>
Anyway... thats all I can think of for now... stay tuned for the next update in a few months time xD
...Oh yeah.... and Star Trek was frikkin AWESOME...
