The Buzz-A-Thon. Fantastic. The 24-hour marathon went pretty well. And I was awake for a little over 40 straight hours and I was at the Buzz-A-Thon constantly. There were a few others that also stayed up throughout the whole thing and then some. And good job to all of you who did.
Me and two other guys were also there constantly and stayed awake the whole time. Which meant that we got to do tons of stuff early in the morning when there was no one else helping. I would say the three of us (with some others who were around at whatever time we were doing it) probably did atleast 2 rounds of improv per hour from 2 in the morning to Noon. Well I could ramble on and on, but I will just sum up some my best Buzz experiences this year.
* My "Missouri Dust Buster Massacre" feature showing again
* Performing and exorcism on my Co-anchor during our hour with Red Diamond as a substitute for Holy Water
* Rolling my belly in a belly competition
* Playing guitar and singing music improv as Bob Dylan
* Beating up a robot
* Performing an emo parody song as "Seth, the Emo Artist"
* Doing too many rounds of "Scenes from a Hat" and other improv games
* Suspending my friend from the ceiling and swinging on him
* Playing the song "Why Does the Sun Shine?" (TMBG version) with this random accordian player named My Friend Fish that I met like an hour earlier.
Yes, I met a guy who played accordian and we just decided to perform a way sweet version of "Why Does the Sun Shine?". And all of that, plus whatever else I forgot, all happened on live TV within a 24-hour time period. It was a good time. You all should have watched all of it. And if you didn't, you atleast have next year to see me randomly on TV for a whole day of live spontaneous stuff.
