Can't compete with those highlanders.
Today was the winter assembly. I liked it better than most, probably because I got to play the National Anthem on guitar. It was loud, distorted, and very Hendrixy. I didn't do it exactly like Hendrix because I wanted it to sound like the National Anthem all the way through and I didn't want it to be over two minutes long.
It went pretty well. I guess plenty of people liked it. Probably the least supportive of it were some of my friends (I think because they figured playing in a school assembly made me a sell-out or something). I heard that some jocks thought it was dumb or something, but they are jocks, so what they think doesn't matter.
The best part was that afterwards "The Final Countdown" played and I got a gallon of Red Diamond.
