They Killed Waldo

Can you pinpoint a moment when your life changed?
I have said it before... for me it was Twin Peaks. I was a child obviously when it was on TV for the first time and I remember this HORRIBLE moment of an array of doughnuts covered in blood... I was terrified, disturbed but I couldn't look away... At that moment something clicked in my mind about visuals, about how profound an image can be. Even a disturbing, scary image... I think that's when I realized that I want to do something creative in life, I want something that has something to do with an impact of images. It taught me to appreciate the more disturbing images as art. It's easy to look at a beautiful picture and admire it, but to understand something more complex and artistic, something that may disturb but move... that was it.
