Ugh, those costumes did NOT age well. Neon colors, glowy weapons, everything skin-tight...it's all very 90's comic book-esque, and just doesn't look good now. Also there's something off-putting about Orchid's facial structure in her classic look. It's like they were trying to recreate the old graphics and it just doesn't look good at all.
At least Jago in the black color scheme doesn't look as bad as he does in the neon blue. I don't know if it's just me, but I also think he doesn't look as freakishly big in his classic outfit as he does in the redesign. I mean, look. It might be my eyes playing tricks on me, but he looks like this big, hulking pile of muscles in his new design. Classic Jago's still muscular, but doesn't look as overdone.
I'll probably stick to classic Jago when I get KI 2013. Much as I love the boy, he's just too damn bulky now. Thought he was a ninja-esque monk, not a pro wrestler.
Also I want you all to know that before this shit came out, I never wanted an XBox anything in my life.
