A couple of days ago I woke up with a rash on my shoulder. This is a very distinct rash that has recurred in the same place several times over the years. It is a clear sign of an active infection. Recently it had been unclear whether the symptoms I have been experiencing are a result of an active infection or nerve damage. Shortly after waking up with the rash I recieved blood test results that confirmed that the Babesia has become reactivated. In short, this sucks.
This means that I'm going to have to go back to a brutal treatment regimine, but I'm going to hold off on it until school is over. It will make me feel absolutely miserable and I just can't take that now. So that means this Summer is going to be frequently unpleasant. It's all very not fun.
